Implatation failure

Looking for advice, on implatation failure, I have one round resulted in a chemical,
Next was a FET very low grade, probably shouldn't have frozen, but was blind sighted, this failed, just had second full round fresh transfer this failed, much to the clinics shock as they were great grades.

Now going for my third full round, I get great eggs 9 fertilised, last time 3 made it to day 5 blastocysts great grade, these failed to implant (all three were implanted) we have male factor, the clinic says this may be the issue, we don't want to use doner
I'm basically looking for advice on how to increase implatation, I will try anything as we are nearing the end of our journey
Thanks in advance 🙂

So it sounds like you've had 4 transfers in total (3 fresh transfers and 1 frozen transfer), and sounds like none of the embryos were PGT tested?

Have you considered getting your embryos PGT tested to try to help confirm if its a implantation or genetic issue?

I'd be really quite concerned about a clinic agreeing to transfer THREE embryos at the same time - the risk of a multiple pregnancy in that situation is very scary. I always found FETs resulted in success where fresh transfers didn't, as your body has time to recover, so you could consider trying a more conservative approach where you transfer 1 fresh and try other FETs subsequently.

What are your clinic recommending? Have they done any of the ERA/EMMA/ALICE tests?

@2mumlife hi

No I have had 3 in total so
first one fresh resultes in chemical
Second one 2 very very low grade not successful
Third one 3 good grade fresh transfer.
The clinic don't recommend testing until the 4th failure, this round they have suggested the sperm is tested, sorry I cant remember the name of the test
The clinic recommends 3 (if we get 3 day 5s) due to my age and failed implementation before
They are putting me on progesterone injections before transfer but thats all that is being changed

Would ask your clinic to try embryo glue. Also how has your lining been? Maybe worth an endometrial scratch as can help implantation. I also went on steroids (15mg prednisilone) and aspirin in case of any immune response/clotting issues. Such a tough position to be in, had 4 failed FETs myself :(

@Hopefulsummer35 yes I think I'm going to ask about the scratch thing.
My lining was great, I was on blood thinning injections and a small dose steroid tablet, think they may up that also .
I've bought beetroot shots as have seen that's good
Did you get a positive?

@camelinastorm I think that if you're of a slightly older age, that the most likely culprit is likely ensuring that the embryos are genetically viable, rather than necessarily implantation failure. I also experienced a CP, and was told at the time it was a good sign I could get pregnant - so in your case with what sounds like positive lining etc, I'd see this as another sign you're really probably waiting for a good embryo rather than there being an issue with implantation. Sounds like your clinic is taking a low-level approach for immune issues with the steroids and and blood thinners etc already, so you're already in a good position I would say. It took me 4 failed medicated IUIs and 3 single-embryo transfers to conceive in my early 30's, so assuming you may be in your early 40s, I wouldn't necessarily think 3 failed transfers is that unexpected / indicative of a bigger issue. I've always found I've had success on frozen and not fresh transfers, as I think your body is basically a bit battered after an egg collection, so it might be worth considering freezing 1 and transferring 2 if you did have 3 embryos available on day 5. I know people always recommend the 'it starts with an egg' book for improving egg quality which might be worth a try, and you could always throw in acupuncture (I did this during my second egg collection) as it can't hurt. Wishing you luck for your next cycle

@2mumlife thanks yes I tried acupuncture on my last round, I think as older it's just going to take more time well hopefully
