Completely new to the world of fertility specialists so any help greatly appreciated. I’ve been pregnant 3 times.
1st pregnancy (quite unbelievably now) was an ‘accident’ and successful, this was 6 years ago. 2nd pregnancy (fell pregnant 2nd month of trying) was a blighted ovum missed miscarriage, found at 12 weeks. 3rd pregnancy took 10 months of trying and resulted in a pregnancy of unknown location, and treated as ectopic.
I’m now quite concerned something isn’t quite right. I’m in my late twenties and live a healthy lifestyle/BMI fine etc. I’ve booked a consultation with a fertility consultant this week, I’m very keen to see if there is a cause such as scar tissue or similar for the ectopic pregnancy, does such a test exist?
I’ve been lucky enough to have some basic checks on the NHS, bloods checked, detailed scan whilst the ectopic was ongoing, no issues were seen, but I don’t think blockages or scars would show on a ultrasound?
Any info would be greatly appreciated, I feel like I need a full fertility MOT - but I’m not sure what that would even consist of?
