Tunbridge wells/ Kent consultation wait times process NHS IVF/ ICSI

Hey everyone

we have just been referred to the fertility clinic in twells / Maidstone and was just wondering if anyone had experience of the waiting time for that first consultation after being referred ?

once confirmed for ivf/ ICSI then how long is it?

not sure of the process exactly so sorry if this is quite basic

How has your process been so far? We had a referral put in with Kent mid-August and still waiting to wait. Have been advised current wait time for 1st appointment is 22 weeks from it being submitted! Would love to know roughly what timings we might be looking at to actually start treatment.

Heya we have our first consultation with the fertility clinic next week so about 5 months. This is the first big thing that's happened in all the waiting so not much to update on in terms of how it's been so far with the process. The waiting is so hard and it's even worse when you not sure of the target date. Try to keep busy and keep focused on eating healthy and good lifestyle habits and it does go by. The days are long but the months are quick if that makes sense

Yeh it's hard isn't it when you just have to be patient but have no idea of how long it might be.
