Advice - first ACU/ IVF appointment

Hi everyone,

We have had funding approved and have our first NHS appointment coming up. We only get once cycle in our area. I have PCOS and DH has Low motility/ morphology.

Can I ask what normally happens at the first appointment? It is with a doctor and they said can take up to 2 hours and might require a scan as well.

Do they just discuss IVF process?

Do you have any advice or what questions to ask? I feel I am likely to forget as I'm so anxious.

We had to answer lots of questions, got sperm analysis and blood test results, had a scan and got told what protocol I would be on. It lasted less that an hour from what I remember.
