Cyclogest pessaries- advice please!

Hi all,

I've just started taking the cyclogest pessaries from today ahead of my first frozen transfer next week. Never got to this stage before as two fresh transfers were cancelled.
I'm taking it 3 times a day (did a natural cycle but having extra luteal support). I've got a couple of meetings next week that mean my lunch time ones may be a little out of sync. I really want to try and take it around the same time each day but does anyone know if it can be within an hours window either side?

Also how do you manage your lunchtime ones with work?!

Hope that makes sense!

Is it the lying down for a while after putting them in you’re worried about? I switched to the back passage - no need to lie down, no funky wax in your underwear etc.

I’ve never taken it at the exact same times each day, within the hour each way. Although admittedly I’ve not been told by doctors/nurse etc. that it has to be exact time each day, or that it can be slightly different!

@LouP87

Sort of, I was told to alternate between both sides, but suggested vaginally at night as it can be abit messy!
I wasn’t sure if I needed a few mins lie down after rectally too but have you managed to just back to normal right away?
I’ve only had my first one for today and lay down just because we could have a lazy morning!

Good to know that you haven’t been too exact. I think we were on the May FET group together, hope your pregnancy is going well so far!

I also did mine by the back way, no mess and no laying down. I work shifts including nights in a fast paced job so my timings were never exact. They said not to worry. Everything worked out fine.

There's plenty of leeway with times/leakage so don't worry

@ACR7 @Lauren83 thank you both!
