Enterococcus faecalis on seman culture

We are unexplained infertility. We had a failed IVF cycle in March where we got 9 mature eggs, all 9 fertilised but 7 failed within 24 hours and the other 2 arrested at day 3 so sadly nothing to transfer.
My husband has good sperm results all classed as normal. We decided to do a sperm culture as it was mentioned this can sometimes effect results and it turns out he has enterococcus faecalis in his seman, an asymptomatic bacterial infection.

As all his seman parameters are normal we aren't sure this is what's caused a problem with embryos or not. Has anyone ever had anything similar or any experience with this?

has your husband had a dna fragmentation test as that could be quite telling on whether e.faecalis has had a bearing on your ivf results.
my husband also has this infection and has high dna frag (30%). We haven’t gone down the ivf route but have had a couple of miscarriages which we’ve put down to the dna frag as no other issues identified.
