Thought I'd start a thread for those experiencing fertility challenges due to PCOS or other ovulation disorders.
I unfortunately have plenty of experience of trying to conceive DC1 in this circumstance and am now trying again.
My history:
3 years to conceive DC1 due to anovulation (up to 1yr at a time without period), with one 13wk loss.
NHS say I have PCOS, private Drs do not agree. Was referred to NHS Assisted Conception and prescribed letrozole but this did not work.
DC1 essentially very lucky fluke.
Now:
Hoping to have a second DC. However, weight now in obese range, not eligible for any fertility assistance, and haven't had a period since DC1 was born over 13mo ago.
Trying weight loss, myo inositol. NHS declined a referral for metformin
