I'm nearly 12 weeks pregnant following our first IVF cycle, after 2 years of TTC naturally.
I feel comfortable enough now to start thinking about making our announcement on social media. Close family and friends already know. I've also given friends who I know are also on the ttc journey the heads up (but I'm aware some, like I did, might be suffering in silence).
I'm only really posting on social media to tell more distant family and friends - I don't have a lot of followers (and my pages are private) but still there are still people I want to know and I feel like I deserve to be able to make an announcement after our difficult journey.
I don't want everyone to know the ins and outs (literally!) of our treatment but I do want to subtly hint that we had difficulties, just to give hope to people who are still on the ttc journey and also to raise a little glimmer of awareness that not everyone conceives easily.
I was thinking of something simple like "our little miracle due this November" but just wondering if anyone has any other ideas or quotes I could use etc.
