Hi ladies. I hope it's ok to post here. I'm looking for some advice and want to be as sensitive as possible given so many people have been through far more difficulties than I have TTC. I feel really confused and unsure about next steps so will start at the beginning.
I have a DD who is nearly 3. She was conceived cycle 1. But her birth was complicated and heavily instrumental (this is relevant later)
Fast forward and we've been TTC no.2 for nearly 8 months (which I appreciate really isn't that long) but I've noticed changes in my cycle length, luteal period changing lengths, one month of anovulation and spotting throughout the month.
I decided to go for a private scan initially last month and they could tell I had ovulated from the left (great). The scan was cd16 and my uterine lining was 7mm. I was hopeful this would thicken.
Fast forward, further heavy bleeding not related to AF so I called my Dr. They were incredibly quick at booking me in, doing bloods and referring me for a scan.
Today cd24 I had the scan and ovulated from the right. My lining was still 7mm which the Dr commented as 'not great for this stage'. I also called to get my bloods today and the receptionist said it was all fine except my progesterone which was low and Dr would call me back. I checked the app and it was 0.4 which is only low in luteal period, but at the time of bloods was follicular. I thought this would answer the 'borderline thin' lining, progesterone prescribed and hopefully success, but now I'm not sure?
The Dr who performed my scan today said I might have a blocked tube and recommended HyCosy privately. But I know there are risks with this, so I'm reluctant to just do this if it's not needed?
Sorry, I've rambled quite a lot. But would be really grateful for anyone with more experience to give me some advice.
Thank you x
