Down regulation - late period

Hi all - I was hoping for some advice. I had my decapeptyl injection last week and my period was due over the weekend. It’s now three days late. Has anyone experienced this?

I am currently on a long protocol ivf cycle and my period was delayed 4 days. I am on a different down regulation drug to you but guessing the effects can be the same. I was never so pleased to see my period arrive!

Ah, that’s reassuring to know! Still no sign of mine yet. Did you call your clinic or just wait for it to start?

I had a baseline scan booked for what was suppose to be Day 2 of my cycle so I still just went in for that and spoke to them about it.
I did a lot of googling when I was stressing about my period not arriving and found quite a few women on these forums over the years saying the same thing about down regulation delaying their periods.

Thanks - that’s helpful to know. I was told to phone once my period arrived to book a scan, so I might give them a call to let them know it still hasn’t. Wishing you all the best for this cycle!
