Late period on down regulation - help/advice needed

I’m on day 12 of nafarelin / Syranel nasal spray. Period was due on Wednesday but it’s still not shown up! My doctor seemed surprised and said it usually comes as normal in her other patients.

My periods are normally very regular so I’m starting to stress out as it’s nowhere to be seen.
i was due to start stims yesterday but that’s obviously now been delayed.

has this happened to anyone else? Did your period come on time when down regulating or was it late?

I don’t think I can stomach any more delays or bad news on the TCC journey!

I was on northisterone for my down regulation,period should have came on the Wednesday but by Thursday still wasn't there I contacted my clinic and was booked for a scan he next morning to see what was going on. I also went for reflexology to relax me/help bring it on. Kept my feet warm and it came in the middle of the night - I think it was the stress of everything! Hope it comes soon everything is so stressful when going through treatment

I'm hopefully having a fet next month. I was on noristerone again for 10 days and then had a bleed. I have been on the nafarelin spray this time as apparently there's a shortage of the buserlin, I've been on the spray since the 28th of March. Last couple of days have had symptoms which I normally have prior to a period starting, I contacted my clinic who said I shouldn't get a period whilst on the spray.

@Hopingtobe4 so yours came 2 days late in the end? Yeah, I am starting to get quite stressed/worried about it which probably doesn’t help the situation. Am having quite intense period cramps this morning which im
hoping is a good sign.

@Rainbowsunshine81 interesting you weren’t expected to get a period. I wonder if you did the extra long down reg where you start at the very beginning of the cycle so your womb lining never thickens? I started my down reg on day 19 of my cycle (7 days after ovulation) so they do expect me to bleed still. Sounds like we’re on similar timeframe. When do you start stims?

@AnnieStar12 thats what my consultant said, but if I get any cramps/bleeding to let them know, these symptoms feel like they have increased slightly. I was on noristerone for 10 days, then had a bleed, have had a scan and I think the lining was thin, but fluid could be seen, ive started progynova today and have 4 of them a day to start thickening the lining, but also hope it gets rid of the fluid. I'm preparing for a frozen transfer next month.

@Rainbowsunshine81 good luck starting the progynova. Hopefullly the fluid goes down on its own so you’re all ready for the FET.

update from me: my period finally arrived today, 4 days late!
