Hi ladies, just wondering if anyone can share experiences and costs.
In my region, on the NHS I get 1 x egg collection, 2 x transfers all within 12months. I ended up having a freeze all cycle of 4 embryos and have just had my first FET which resulted yesterday as a BFN. I was more upset than expected and I think it's because it's hit me that the next one is my last chance due to financial reasons, and the very real possibility of another BFN.
I just wondered if anyone originally only thought they'd be able to do this via the NHS and ended up going private for remaining FETs? And how much it cost to do so. I have asked my clinic (who are private with the NHS contract) how much they charge for private FETs as a follow on from NHS treatment and am waiting to hear, but just wanted to hear other experiences.
I know my feelings from yesterday's news are very fresh, but feeling slightly panicked.
