Hi everyone,
I'm 35 and have been TTC for 8 years now, completely unsuccessful - PCOS and Endo teamed with Low sperm count
We decided to try IVF and then covid hit, then life got in the way but we are just starting our first cycle today.
I have to take provera for a couple of weeks, then start injections mid May.
I'm just planning ahead and wanted to ask a couple of questions to those already going through/been through IVF
On egg collection day is there anything I should take with me - is there anything you didn't take but wished you had?
I'm thinking of taking my snuddie as I think ill be cold afterwards. The clinic said to bring some snacks as they don't offer much in the way of food so that is covered.
Do you bleed much after collection?
Has anyone been through IVF with IIH? How did you get on? Did you have any problems during treatment?
I'm technically in remission and have been since 2016 with no symptoms or problems since, but obviously taking so many hormones may bring it back on again.
My neurologist has cleared me for treatment and they will be monitoring me closely during treatment and during pregnancy (should we be successful)
I have to be careful with what I eat and I exercise regularly which includes horse riding and going to the gym both classes and a PT led program.
Did anyone continue their exercise regimes whilst in treatment?
I understand that things may swell, fluid etc and everyone is individual and to listen to my body but I'm so worried about putting weight on during treatment which will put me over the BMI limit imposed. At present I have reduced my weight to be well under the threshold but in all reality how much weight did you gain during treatment?
Any other hints and tips to get through would be very much welcomed.
Thanks in advance
