FET 5dp5dt - bfp or trigger?

Five days past transfer for my second FET (first was a bfn). Just caved and did a cheapy test, middle of the day. I got a very very faint line (pic below, you can barely see it), but also well aware this could be my trigger shot from 12 days ago, so basically I feel like a total clown for torturing myself like this! Wondered if anyone else had experience with testing out a trigger, or was in their 2 week wait. My official test day is Monday and as expected I'm losing my mind.

Most likely trigger at this point, I had the same in a failed cycle. Good luck x

My trigger was out my system on 4dp5dt and I got a BFP (verrrrrrry faint) on 7dp5dt. Looks like you are in it for the long haul testing every day 😩 good luck and fingers crossed!!

Mine looked like this 5DP5DT and 12 days post trigger. I’m now 9 weeks pregnant….good luck!

my advice would be to test tomorrow and then leave it 48hrs as I became obsessed and tortured myself about line progression!

Thanks @GB844 that's really good advice! I tested this morning and it's basically exactly the same so going to leave it now and test again on Sunday. Congratulations and wishing you a smooth 9 months from here on out!

At 5dp I'd say it could be either. 7dp5dt is usually the earliest people see a positive I think. I'd give it 48 hours. Wishing you luck.

Okay these are all a day apart, with the bottom one this afternoon at 7dp5dt. Could this be... line progression?!

Looks like it to me 🥳

@localbunny how did things progress for you? Im in the same boat as you were getting faint lines and not knowing if trigger or line progression!

localbunny · 26/05/2024 21:11

@AnnieStar12 it ended in a chemical for me sadly - I knew because all symptoms stopped abruptly, and then slowly the line disappeared. Wishing you a better outcome for yours 💐
