Avoid this clinic!>> the £580 "Admin fee importing sperm from an HFEA recognised sperm bank"?

It is The London Women's Clinic. This fee was £200 in 2019 when I first ordered some straws of donor sperm from the US. And today I just got an invoice for the same fee and it's already nearly tripled £580. I was just so shocked and struggling.

All the prices in this clinic increased crazily. I have been using it since 2018 (I don't know why I didn't have thought to change it. So regret). As a healthy single woman without any known fertility issues, I have not had any success with it.

Based on my individual experience and opinion, I suggest people who considering IVF should steer away from this clinic.

We have had a really similar experience with this fee (£550 for us) and it being such a shock. We have recently moved from CREATE to London Women’s Clinic and it came as such a surprise as CREATE don’t charge you anything for importing sperm. I have found LWC to have a lot more additional costs than CREATE, but we’re having to go with them because they partner with Access Fertility.

I wonder if other clinics have this ‘admin fee’…?
