RECOMMENDATIONS FOR IVF IN TURKEY PLEASE

Hi All, I am new to the group and hoping for a recommendation. I am 41 and have been told that I have very low AMH - less than 3.

My partner is Turkish so we are looking to try a clinic in Turkey, hopefully specialising in those with low AMH who want to use their own egg.

Long shot but does anyone have any recommendations on fertility clinics in Turkey which support cases such as mine? Ideally someone with a positive success story.

Much appreciation in advance! 💗

Hi @2Catcr70 I can’t recommend ivf clinics but wanted to let you know not to panic! I’m 40 and 2 years ago I had a fertility MOT and my AMH was 1.54 pmol/L. I was devastated and remembered thinking that was it, I’d never have children. I posted on this and was told to get a sperm donor asap as I was single at the time. I had some posters telling I had ‘missed the boat’.

Fast forward 2 years and I’m married, 13 weeks pregnant and low risk harmony (Nipt) results. Before that I had 3 miscarriages last year all at 6 weeks and had recurrent miscarriage testing done and there was no cause for it. I imagine my AMH now must be about zero as 2 years have passed from my AMH reading. The important thing to remember is low AMH does not mean you can’t get pregnant or that you need IVF

Hi @Marj84 I can't thank you enough for your email. I was truly beginning to believe that it wouldn't happen and that I'd truly missed the boat.

Your message has given me hope. I really hope that I'm fortunate to have a child in the near future.

I very much hope that your pregnancy goes smoothly for you and wish you all the best once your little bundle arrives 💗

@2Catcr70 I’m glad it’s reassured you! It really does just take one egg. Tbh I wish I never had my AMH tested as it caused lots of unnecessary stress and panic. As long as you’re ovulating regularly you can get pregnant naturally. The only thing I can recommend is taking pregnancy multivitamins (I followed the regime from ‘it starts with the egg’). Good luck!

@2Catcr70 hi I know someone who had successful IVF at Acibadem Maslak, in Istanbul, under Dr Bulent Tiras. She was 42 at the time of IVF. I also had PRP there twice. It's very advanced and worth exploring more.

Thank you so much.
Like you, I also read 'It Starts With An Egg' and am also following the supplement regime recommended for cases such as mine.

I have my fingers and toes crossed for a miracle baby really soon x

@Marj84 @2Catcr70 I’m just new here, so apologies if this isn’t the right place to ask. But I wondered if you had any testing done before taking the “it starts with the egg” regime? And where you got it done? I’ve only just started reading it and wondering if I’ll need to get some private blood tests?

Sorry I can’t help with any clinics in Turkey.
