IVF is turning me Grey

I've just started my first icsi cycle. I'm only 2 weeks into down regulation (synarel nasal spray) and thankfully have had only small side effects.

But this week I have found 6 grey hairs. Six! I'm 34 and I've only ever had the odd one or two before and that was after surgery for my ectopic when I was super stressed.

I know I'm being ridiculous. I need someone to tell me to give my head a wobble.

But I've spent the last week thinking mother nature is trying to telling me I'm too old now. Maybe my side effects is that it makes me ridiculous.

And obviously stress causes greys they say so all my stress about this is just going to make me go more grey. 🙃

Somebody tell me off please.

Haha I misread that as IVF has made me gay at first 😂😂 I am 33, post 2 rounds of IUI and currently 11 weeks preg after IVF and I’ve found my first grey hair, maybe it’s a coincidence! Defo not too old though, women are having children into their 40’s nowadays!

Haha. Not so far but my libido is shot so my husband has about as about as much chance as any women currently!

No I do totally get you, I pride myself on having no Grey’s so was pretty shocked to find that thick one! I just plucked it out and pretended it didn’t happen, told no one until now 😂 have you left them or removed them…? and thank you! Good luck with your process!

It really does! The joy of hormones. Trying to frame it as its all good practice for pregnancy and years of sleepless nights.

I plucked the first two in panic. The rest I've just left because I have always had fine hair and I'm thinking grey is better than leaving myself like Angelica's doll from rugrats.

Haha yeah maybe that’s a good way of looking at it! All I would say is be kind to yourself because I felt rubbish on stims and just as rubbish pregnant (just more nauseous now). Not to be ungreatful, just to highlight that the stims are just as hard work! Hope that makes sense, feels like ramble lol.

I had been finding more greys too!! Didn't correlate it with IVF but it could be the reason. I found one a few years ago but then found about 3 over the last few weeks x
