Hi

Hoping for some advice...I got my TSH panel checked by my GP in readiness for my 2nd FET and it has gone up. Admittedly it is still under 2.5 but it's gone up a fair bit so I was a bit concerned. Data as follows:

2023
Feb: 2.84 (before IVF)
July: 1.56 (diet changes for 3 mths)
Oct: 1.86

2024
Jan: 1.26
This week: 2.13

Any advice anyone??? I'm going to clamp back down on my diet as I got a bit relaxed but not sure if that is natural fluctuatation as I understand it can be seasonal??? Bit concerned as going into a FET

My specialist did it on cycle day 1 and if it's above 2 gives you Thyroid medicine.

It's better to take medicine I guess, mine kept increasing even though the medicine so they would just increase the medicine.

@Olivie12 thanks for getting back to me. I spoke to the clinic and they didn't seemed concerned and just said its under 2.5 and that it naturally fluctuates 😬 They also commented that testing as regulary as I have would likely show that fluctuation moreso. What was yours when you went on the meds? Plus do you not need to be on the meds for 4-6 weeks before starting IVF for it to kick in and stabilise things?

A month before FET it was 1.96 then on CD1 it was over 2, so I started thyroxine. On beta, my TSH was much higher around ,4.5. I think in my case the IVF meds increase my thyroid, any other time it comes normal.
