Anyone starting IVF late March?

Hi there!

I started my first round of natural modified IVF last night. I wondered if anyone else was starting around the same time and wanted to chat on here for some support.

A bit about me..

I've recently turned 39 and have been trying to conceive this baby for 18 months ish. We have a little boy who is 3.5 years old. We had a missed miscarriage with our first pregnancy in June 2019 and, very sadly, had a TFMR in June 2022 because our baby had Patau's, which is incompatible with life.

We found out in October 2023 that I have severely diminished ovarian reserve (AMH is 0.55). Obviously, this was a major blow on top of everything else we've been through. We are now in a 6 cycle programme with Create. I had a cancelled cycle last month due to my hormones not playing ball. I'm feeling quietly hopeful this month , because we've actually started ivf this time, and praying this cycle continues!

Whilst my AMH is very low, Create think I have a chance, because of my previous pregnancies and because I'm otherwise healthy, plus there's no male factor at play.

I've got my first egg collection tomorrow! I've got severely low AMH, so I'm doing natural modified IVF, which focuses on getting the egg that would have been naturally selected. It's a lot of pressure on that one potential egg.
