Does anyone have any stories about private clinics accepting them for ivf with a bmi of 30+ in uk?

If you have been in this position, what did you do to get ivf support, and lose weight (optionally or clinic directed)?

And any success stories?

Private clinics will treat you with a BMI upto 35 I believe. I have a higher BMI but I get weighed for work and actually when my waist measurement is taken into account I am not high risk due to not really carrying visceral fat. I’m just generally a bigger person with big strong legs etc. Not that any healthcare providers take this into consideration 🙄 my private clinic didn’t weigh me, just asked what my weight was and suggested I lost a few lb. 2 failed rounds of IUI and IVF worked first time!
