Ovulation bleeding? Is this a thing?

Hi all, I had an MVA on 16th Feb. It was our first time of catching after two years of TTC.

I was advised to wait three weeks on testing HCG level- I tested on 1st March (there was a faint line) and then I tested on the actual third week (8th) and there no line.

During that week my boobs were really painful and sore.
From the Friday 8th- Monday 11th I did CB testing and just had flashing smiley. Today it has gone to the circle.

Yesterday I had pink mucus and today I am bleeding a little- only when I wipe.

To add, my husband and I had DTD sat, sun and Monday but that is because we hadn’t in so long (last time was in Jan when I was pregnant!) and we felt ok with TTC.

I never had anything like this before the MC. Was just wondering- has this happened to anyone else? What does the bleeding mean? Do I need to be worried? We have kinda written off this month for pregnancy as we think I missed ovulation window?

@MerryBrickHelper sorry to hear about your Mva and struggles. i would link in with your gp. This started happening to me a couple of years ago (when I got periods back after having a baby) and it really freaked me out.spotting during ovulation runs in my family because my mum and sister have it but they have had it all along whereas I never had it until a couple of years ago. gp told me get a smear test which was normal and went through a few questions with me. It could be for hormonal reasons, this is what the gp said. No harm in discussing it with them anyway .

@MerryBrickHelper might be no harm doing a pregnancy test just in case also.

It’s definitely not ovulation bleeding (there is too much blood) so I really do not know why I’m bleeding three weeks 5 days on? I have no pain; could it be my period? I took a hcg test last Friday and it came up negative x

How long is your cycle normally ? I had a d&c about a year ago and got my period about 28 days later which is my usual cycle length approximately . As far as I recall it was much heavier than normal also. Do you have any follow up appointment?

It’s usually 29/30 days. It’s only been 23 days since MVA? I just do not feel periody? No follow up apt but I might call the EPU and see what they say?

yes perhaps you should call them just in case. I think procedures like that can throw cycles out of whack but you are better off checking to see what they think.
