NHS fertility referral at Lister Hospital

Hello, GP has just referred us to a fertility specialist, got the letter through and looks like it will be at Lister. Can anyone advise how long it will be until they contact me, and if anyone has had treatment there, what was your experience like?

We have just had our referral through and can pick between quite a few hospitals - Lister being one and due to them having an endo specialist I’m tempted to go with them!

Can you advise how it went and wait times or if you’d select another hospital given the chance?

I’m also totally unsure of the process, our GP is awful and also doesn’t know. Is this initial appointment with the hospital to decide if funding would be given or not? And then you select the fertility centre of choice? Or is it on their terms who you go with?

So lost in this process!
