I have used him recently for donor egg but treatment was unsuccessful . He is after fees. It is written on the website 6000 euros but took 8500 euros from us and felt basic treatment was given. i am not sure if I will go back again to Embryoland or need a clinic which can thoroughly investigate me , as I have fibroids. And whether fibroid is preventing me to conceive.

Hi there thank you for your reply.
I am so confused now. I planned to visit him but now I feel I should change it. I had two video calls with him and on the second call I started feeling not that positive. Do you have any other clinic in Athens in mind? There are loads of names but until someone has used it and can recommend it's difficult to choose. I also need donor eggs. I have had fibroid surgery in 2022 in the UK. Pls reply me

They selected anonymous donor, collected 8 eggs and only two made to blastocyst and only 1 was good. So currently if I go back they have to do all over again , as I don’t have any embryos left . I was disappointed with this because if it is a young donor as they say , it should have at least 3- 4 good embryos . Spend one week in Greece and they gave just basic pills and checked superficially the scan to see the thickness of the endometrium. I felt I wasted one week in Greece.
currently I am emotionally drained with this experience and i will think may be next week about going back to Greece with Embryoland if they have any different plan , also want to know their charges for this round, or to Serum in Greece or to another country. We just had to believe what they had to say about the embryos and Egg donor. There was no paper proof about any of this evidence of donor eggs.
I also became doubtful when they said that you can come any time to Greece as donor egg is available , looks like they have already collected and frozen these eggs. So ethically and genetically what was going on with the donor eggs I was not aware , but with a hope we went there.

Thank you so much for your reply. And so sorry to hear your experience. I have had bad experiences in the UK for 6 years so I know the feeling. And decided to go abroad this February after another failure.
Yes I agree if they are young donors there should be lot of embryos. Normally they calculate 5-6 minimum. Did they not propose to do the hysteroscopy? also did u go only once, straight for embryo transfer? We already bought the tickets etc and agreed 18 April with him. but I am not sure now, this was just to have the blood tests and scan and then after sometime for embryo transfer when all ready. There are lot of options but again who to trust. Also some clinics have even fake reviews. At the end of the day it's a business. I spoke to some other clinics and after speaking to them I already had a second thought. If u don't mind can we pls speak on WhatsApp. I have been waiting to speak to someone properly who have been to Greece.
My WhatsApp is 07922658715.

If you do not mind.
We can still continue to chat here if you prefer. Thank you so much.
