NHS IVF failed - what’s next?

Hi all,

I was hoping someone could shed some light and what happens next after failed ivf on the NHS.
We were lucky enough to have 1 fresh and 2 frozen transfers on the NHS, the fresh transfer failed, the second transfer which was our first frozen was successful but sadly ended in mc at 8 weeks. We’ve just completed our final frozen transfer and sadly this also failed.
We feel at a loss and have no idea what happens next, do the NHS provide any further help or is that it?

Any advice would be really appreciated.

thank you

Hi, I'm so sorry to hear this. I am currently going through my first cycle and have had my first transfer today so no idea of outcome for at least another week.

It depends on where in the UK you are. I'm in Scotland and here we are allowed up to 3 rounds of IVF depending on how many eggs were retrieved/quality of eggs.

Do you know how many eggs were retrieved and their grades? NHS should definitely have a follow up appointment with you to discuss next steps.

Hope this helps x
