IVF Abroad? Where to go?

Hey Everyone!

so little bit of a backstory, about 9 years ago me and my husband had ivf with icsi through the NHS which resulted in success first time and now about to have a 8 year old daughter.

We have been trying for the past few years to no success, this being the male factor as my husband has a low sperm count.

We are looking at ivf abroad to hopefully extend our family.

We are looking for suggestions on where to go and any advice?

we have been looking at ARK in Greece.

Definitely speak to Dream IVF Cyprus. They work with multiple clinics on the island and will be able to guide you on the best options available. I'm not paying them for the service but found it really helpful to get a second opinion on the clinics including some local insights reputation-wise etc

It depends on your reasons for going abroad. There are some UK clinics with good reputations mentioned on here. Logistically easier.

If you’re trying to save money, the Czech Republic may be worth a try.

If you’re going abroad for better IVF technology I would suggest Spain or Greece. They are generally very thorough.

Factor in your 8 year old - would she travel with you? Perhaps your DH would leave a sperm sample at the clinic in advance of your treatment and she stay home with him.

For a start you’ll need any tests updated, it’s likely to be cheaper to travel abroad and do so than to have them in the UK (with the possible exception of Examen sperm test).

@DollyDaydream23 just found this thread and wondered how you got on? Which clinic did you decide on in the end? I have been recommended Serum in Greece - would love to hear your thoughts x
