Letrozole

Had my HyCosy yesterday and it was all clear no blockages so finally got to pick up my prescription for Letrozole.

It feels like something has finally moved in the right direction. I don't ovulate myself or if i do, it's once in a blue moon so therefore looking forward to have a real chance to try.

I have irregular cycles but imagine i will be due on around 19/20th march. Anyone else starting OI medicine? Clomid or Letrozole and want to keep each other sane?

I’m on day 3 of taking Letrozole for the first time after 2.5 years of trying to conceive. Praying it works.

Sending you positive vibes 😊

Hey, how are you feeling? Are you having any side effects?

Fingers crossed it works for you - baby dust!!

Are you also having monitored cycle and trigger shot? xx

I've just finished my 5 days of letrozole on my first cycle, been TTC 14 cycles. How are you both doing?

I ovulate on my own but not as effectively as what I should be so the fertility consultant is hoping this will give me the boost I need!

Hey

Yet to start, waiting to start my Letrozole. CD 25 today however no real clue when my period will come as very irregular.

How do you feel after your letrozole? is yours a monitored cycle? and this your first cycle trying?

I'm going to do 6 and start on 2.5 - what's your course?

@Optimistic66 good luck! Hopefully you aren't waiting too long.

I feel fine, I did have hot flushes the first couple of days but nothing since. Took it CD2-6 and I'm CD7 now, I had 2.5mg.

Not a monitored cycle at the moment, have a follow up fertility appointment on the 2nd April which is the day my next AF is due after letrozole where they will determine if I need anymore testing.

13 cycles TTC with one CP on cycle 2 in April 2023. This is our first round of letrozole on cycle 14.

I ovulate on my own but not as effectively as I should be apparently, that with low progesterone so taking Letrozole as a natural booster to hopefully mature my eggs better.

Do you have PCOS?

Ahhh fingers crossed lots of baby dust for you.

Will you be doing a day 21 test instead? similarly been trying forever - so this will be my first ever letrozole cycle on 2.5mg.

i don't have PCOS (no cysts) however tons of hair so not quite sure, i don't seem to ovulate regularly so hoping this helps and gives a good chance.

Will you be DTD every other day with OPKS?

i'm obsessed with OPKS every month i can't imagine how much worse i will be next cycle.

@Optimistic66

Thank you and to you as well! Do you track bbt?

Yeah I think we will DTD every other day, maybe every day depending. What do you think you'll do?

If I ovulate CD20, that'll be next Saturday (23rd March) so I'm going to start next Tuesday and do every other day and then maybe Sunday as well
