Picking a clinic for IVF in Kent

Hello, we need to pick a clinic for our upcoming ivf cycles via NHS and we have been given two to select from. Care fertility in Tunbridge Wells and London Womens Clinic in Bromley (just taken over from Ifertility), just wondering if anyone had any recent experience with either clinic? Finding the whole process very overwhelming so any feedback would be greatly appreciated! Thank you x

Hi @Seasidegirll! It’s been a while since posted but we’re now in the same situation and wondering which clinic to pick…

Hoping things turned out well for you!

Tunbridge Wells Care seems to have pretty awful reviews on Google so swaying towards Bromley, even though it’s a bit further away for us.

Which did you choose in the end? - and did you rate them?!

Hi @NBH123

Just thought I'd jump on to give a really positive review for LWC in Bromley - the team has been exceptional and I've felt completely supported every step of the way. I'm halfway through my 1st cycle (had EC last week but have had to freeze all due to OHSS) and can't fault any of the care I've received to date.

Good luck with everything ❤️

Thanks so much @Stillwinston - that’s super helpful and reassuring!

Wishing you lots of luck too x

Hi! Wow, a lot has happened since I posted on here!! We actually ended up going with LWC in Canterbury who got the NHS funding just before we started but we also used LWC Bromley for egg collection and transfer as Canterbury don’t have a theatre. Both clinics were absolutely incredible, really supportive with the most lovely, caring staff. Canterbury is closer to us which is why we ended up going to them, however I would have been very happy with using Bromley.

We completed a full cycle which unfortunately ended in a negative outcome but much to our complete and utter surprise, I ended up falling pregnant naturally shortly afterwards! A completely shock after 2 and a half years TTC!

I wish you both the best of luck for your up coming cycles xx
