Bleeding after a BFP

Hi all. I think I know the answer to my own question really. If it is a question, I don’t really know.

after our first BFP on Wednesday 15 days post 2 day transfer we had our finger prick pregnancy test on day 18 (yesterday) as advised by the clinic. This also produced a BFP. We let the clinic know and got booked in for a scan mid March.

this evening, I went to the toilet and I seem to be bleeding quite heavy light blood - which looks like the start of my period.

the clinic is shut until Monday. I assume this is very much not normal and will mean a loss. Just not sure what to do with myself really now

I'm really sorry. It is possible to have some bleeding and that be normal but if it is fresh red blood and heavy it is more likely the sign of a loss. I would continue with any medications and contact the clinic tomorrow. It's a horrible limbo to be in but hopefully they can advise first thing.

My doctor recommended always calling to discuss increasing progesterone in case of any bleeding or spotting. It’s not always too late. But it could go either way. In my experience, if the bleeding continues and gets heavier, it’s probably over. If it’s a single instance, then you can still be okay.

thank you both. Tests are still very strong but it’s giving me little reassurance as I know I will still have levels of hcg for some time. (Pics taken in order from
weds to today)

I woke up this morning and there was still a noticeable amount of blood in my urine although slightly browner on my pad and a lot less than yesterday.

ill see what the clinic say in the morning but I fear the worst for now and will try and prepare for it
