Success rate for day 2 transfer

Hi just received a phone call to confirm that only 1 of the 9 eggs the clinic collected yesterday fertilised successfully so they want to do a day 2 transfer tomorrow. This is my first and possibly my only IVF cycle as I'm 43.
Just wondering how many of you have had a successfully pregnancy after a day 2 transfer?

I dont know anything in relation to success rate but about 5 years ago we had private IVF and had 12 follicules and 9 eggs of which 5 fertilised. We had fresh and frozen and resulted in an atopic.

we left it and last year decided to start the journey via the NHS. We had 3 follicules of which 2 eggs were collected and only one fertilised. We was called in for a 2 day transfer as this was protocol with our clinic and it was a 4 cell embryo

yesterday we got our first BFP. It’s all very early for us in our journey and we keep our fingers crossed that it remains that was but I wanted to share our story as it shows things are possible with a 2 day transfer. It was our last shot too as we couldn’t afford any more rounds our self.
