IVF v natural pregnancy

Hey guys, looking for some advice for your IVF journeys and cyclogest symptoms. As a bit of background, I have a history of recurrent miscarriage in the 8-10week phase. After tests we found I have PCOS and my partner has low sperm count so we were referred to ivf. All has run really smoothly so far, though our first natural FET failed In January. We chose to go straight into another natural FET and our little embryo was transferred on 12th Feb and currently in the TWW.

My question is around symptoms with cyclogest. I have no symptoms so far other than some light brown spotting days 3/4 post transfer. Is this normal? In my natural pregnancies I remember being so uncomfortable from bloating and with really sore heavy boobs but I currently don’t feel any different. I know every pregnancy is different, I guess I’m just looking to see if ivf pregnancies are different from natural, with the addition of cyclogest?

this TWW is driving me mad, sorry for the ramble.
sending baby dust to you all xx

Sending you hope for this transfer. There is honestly no way of telling what your symptoms mean. Some spotting/brown blood can be totally normal in a successful round or unsuccessful. Some have no spotting at all with either outcome. I haven't conceived any pregnancies naturally but I am fairly sure it would be unlikely there is a consistent correlation between symptoms in that scenario either, particularly given women can have different symptoms with different pregnancies. Wishing you luck.

I'm not sure there's any correlation between symptoms . I had a natural pregnancy, resulted in a miscarriage but I knew straight away I was pregnant.
With our our ivf cycle I was genuinely shocked to test positive as was convinced it didn't work.
I have pcos too and I'm currently 18 weeks so don't give up hope

I’ve had an IVF pregnancy and a natural one. With my IVF one I had spotting but the natural one I didn’t. I also had really sore swollen boobs with the IVF one which I didn’t have with the natural one. However with the natural one I had more bloating.

This is what I was wanting to hear! I know it’s not possible to get 100% reassurance but nice to hear someone has been in the same boat. My test day is Wednesday and I will be genuinely shocked if it’s positive, I couldn’t feel less pregnant but I’m staying positive, congratulations on your pregnancy xx

It’s so strange how no one pregnancy is the same even in the same person! Thank you for your message. I’m keeping everything crossed 🤞🏼

I completely agree. It’s so strange how every pregnant is so different. There’s just that added anxiety after previous miscarriage. I’m trying to stay positive and hoping for the best, thank you so much for your message.
