First time IVF- implantation in a few days

Hello ! First time IVF-er here :-) I'm 41 and my partner and I have unexplained infertility.
We began IVF/ICSI recently after trying naturally for a year. Upon egg collection I had 22 follicles, 12 had eggs in them, 9 of the eggs were mature, 8 successfully fertilized and it has resulted in 4 happy blastocysts (3bb) frozen in two batches of 2. I'm going in in a few days for the FET, my
lining is looking good (the other day 8.5 mm), and throughout this process they have told me my hormone levels are excellent.
We don't have a lot of money, and won't be able to do this many times like some stories I read, so I'm hoping to read past the lower
success percentage statistic rates I read. We will be implanting 2. If anybody has any advice moving forward, or any perspective on my situation
.. as everybody here knows it's such a private process, and I'm just seeking some community perspective - Very much appreciated to hear any advice or insights. :-)

@kaydevo7777 best wishes to you. I am also on a FET I just started my estrogen I am day 3 in so a few weeks behind. Lots of people on here in similar situations. This will be my 3rd transfer but first from my second stimulated round. It sounds positive for you your first round went well. My advice is just to go with it, try not to compare your journey to others and to learn as much as you can about the process and your own body as you go so that if you were to need to go through it again (hopefully not) you are fully in control of what you need. It’s certainly a journey but you’re definitely not alone x

@Nk11 Thank you ! Sending you good vibes on your 3rd transfer. It's such a steep learning curve especially as every person's body is so different, and every clinic has different approaches. Did you transfer 1 or 2 in the past? We were given the option to implant 2 (due to my age), and so froze the 4 in 2 batches, which will gives us 2 transfer attempts before potentially doing the whole shebang again. Trying to just stay in the moment. How did you find your 10-14 day wait in previous transfers? I fell down a googling whole in how to approach it, and ones body during that period.
So good, to be discussing with other people going through similar experiences:-)

@kaydevo7777 only transferred one at a time due to my age (30 at the time) now nearly 32. On both occasions I started to bleed fairly early on maybe 5 days post transfer so I knew it hadn’t worked. It’s easy to Google it but for me I’ve never had a positive test so any bleeding for me just tells me it’s not worked. Not necessarily the case for everyone. This time I have extra progesterone and blood thinners added to see if it helps.

Do you have a date booked in for transfer?

@Nk11 On those previous transfers you were continuing estrogen and progesterone post transfer. I did 10 days of estrogen, and then they added progestrone for the last 5 days, and i'm supposed to be continuing them post transfer - My transfer is tomorrow ! (Monday)
