Hi

For anybody who has been in these two jabs for IVF, were you told to mix them in a single injection?

I am looking at my notes from my nurse consult and it says to mix them but it was before Christmas and I'm due to inject tonight and questioning whether I wrote down the right thing.

Just wondered other people's experiences of these jabs.

Hi there!
I was on Meriofert and Fostimon. I had to administer them separately BUT you do have the mix them each (powder and solution).

I hope that makes sense.
All the best!

Thanks @Skylab24

In my notes I'd written everything to prep the fostimon but then instead of injecting that into myself, I need to inject it into the Meriofert vial and then suck it up to inject into me, if that makes sense.

Just really having second thoughts about my notes although I am about 90% sure that it is what the nurse told me.

I will decide what to do tonight and then contact the nurses tomorrow

@Skylab24 did you struggle with the glass ampoules? Now worrying about whether it's possible to inject small glass shards as ours wasn't a very clean snap 😫 god IVF is stressful

@Skylab24
I just double checked with my partner in regards to mixing both...apologies I gave you the wrong info. He mixed both together. Sincere apologies.

No trouble with the ampoules, he said there is a dot (you probably already know this!!).

As you may have gathered I didn't do my injections myself. I hope things get easier as you get into it.

No worries @Skylab24 thank you so much for coming back to clarify. xx
