Left side abdominal pain FET 6w+1 pregnant

Hello

Please can I have some advise. I started Enoxaparin & Aspirin 3 days ago. I stated having brown spotting yesterday and today when I woke up it was watery brown.

Since this morning, I started to have pain on my left abdomen. It isn't like the one when you are about to have your period, it is more like when you walk so fast or run and it gives you pain like a stitch. No pain when peeing, no problem passing bowel. No shoulder tip pain.

I have had 2 natural pregnancies that resulted in early loss and 1 fresh transfer that didn't progress, nothing was seen in the 7 week scan. If the pain gets worse I will have to ring 111 but at the moment if I don't move much it isn't felt that much. More like uncomfortable and a worry.

I am on progesterone morning and night and on 2 tablets of elleste solo (estrogen) in the morning and 3 at night.

I don't know of this is a start of another heart ache, or if it's just gas or one of those things pregnancy brings.

Please any input would be much appreciated. I am at work and a bit scared.

Hey, sorry you aren’t feeling great. I would definitely phone your clinic and see if they would scan you earlier or your nearest early pregnancy unit. Sounds like it might be good to get a scan for piece of mind that the embryo is definitely in the right place and no need to worry xxx

Thank you I am getting a little scared the pain has been there since this morning and never left although mild and dull. I don't think the EPU nor the clinic scan on a weekend. I don't know what to do. I hope tomorrow after I rest tonight it will be gone.

i really hope it resolves ok - could you take some paracetamol? If it gets any more painful definitely phone NHS24 and you will probably be seen. My clinic usually is open at weekends too and has someone on call so you can call anytime, maybe check your clinic might have this? xxx

So sorry OP, please try not to worry. I had exactly the same symptoms yesterday- the brown discharge and the pain in the lower abdomen the night before last. I am also taking progesterone capsules 3xday, following a FET (6w+1 yesterday). My mind was racing all of yesterday morning and I managed to get a scan at my clinic. All fine and saw my baby and a heartbeat for the first time 💗

Are you using applicators for the progesterone? My clinic told me to ditch those and use my fingers to insert now as the discharge was likely irritation. The pain in the abdomen was probably down to the baby burrowing in and I have had also had a cough for weeks.

If your clinic won’t scan over the weekend do you have any other early scan places around?

Sending lots of good thoughts and calming vibes your way.

Thank you. I will monitor today and see how it goes. I just hope I don't have any more pain and bleeding. Thank you for replying to my post. ❤️

@RazzleDazz1e Wow. We are exactly on the same boat. 6w+1 yesterday too. We have the same symptoms at the same time and we both did FET. Your reply gave me so much hope. Thank you so much for your words of comfort and advise. ❤️

I use the progesterone rectally with my fingers because previously it did irritate me when done vaginally.

I think the only place who can scan me this weekend would be A&E if I am in any more pain.

I didn't think of the baby burrowing in. I didn't know the baby does that at 6 weeks.

I hope I won't have any more pain nor spotting. Thank you so much for replying to my post. xxx
