Miscarriage clinic or doctor recommendations please

After two early miscarriages and one chemical I'm eager to do some tests and speak to a consultant. Seems I can fall pregnant, strong positive lines on the tests, pregnancy symptoms... but then sadly no viable pregnancy on the 6 week scan.
Looking for some recommendations of a private miscarriage clinic or consultants based in London. There are so many online it is overwhelming to know who to go with.
Thank you

Sorry you are going through this. I saw Raj Rai, at the recurrent miscarriage clinic at St Mary’s, who diagnosed me with a genetic mutation which causes blood clotting problems during pregnancy. He specialises in thrombophilia, but doesn’t do any immunology testing. He later had my husband tested for sperm DNA fragmentation, which led us to IVF.
My IVF clinic then tested me for NK Cells as well.

With hindsight, I would have got the results quicker from a fertility clinic rather than St Mary’s. So I would personally recommend going to a fertility clinic that can test for thrombophilia, immunology and sperm DNA fragmentation, if you want to cover all bases.

I was always told that losses under 6 weeks are most likely due to chromosomal abnormalities, which happen randomly (though they increase with maternal age or poor sperm quality). So the clinic might not feel there’s an underlying problem or you need all these tests in your situation.

I’m happy to share my clinic if that’s helpful.

Thank you so much for your detailed reply, much appreciated. I was actually recommended him just today in person as well! Would also love your clinic's name please. That would be fab to get the ball rolling with some tests. Thank you!

No problem. I went to the Lister and had a really good experience. I think CRGH also do the same range of tests (and I’m sure there are others if you want to shop around).

I don’t know if you realise there’s also a designated miscarriage/ pregnancy loss forum here on Mumsnet which might help with further info.

Wishing you all the best.
