FET and alcohol

I'm so very very lucky to have two children. One natural after over a year trying (now 6) and one from a fresh IVF cycle (now 1).
From the fresh cycle we ended up with two 5AA embryos, one resulting in my DC and one is frozen. We have decided to give it one shot for a third child, with the mindset if it doesn't work it's not meant to be.
We're going for a natural FET and booked in to have my pre ovulation scan next week, meaning the transfer probably won't happen until the end of w/c 5th Feb.
Now, I haven't been drinking but I was wondering whether if I had a few glass of wine this weekend would it really hurt? Obviously the embryos is already made but would it effect my lining?

Hey! I know some people might not be like this and probably clinics will say not drink anything but I have always drunk small amounts before transfers. Usually max one glass of wine or two a week.

good luck with your transfer!!!

Thanks @Ellenn Were you successful with your transfers?

There's no decent evidence it has any effect. If it doesn't work it won't be down to the glass of wine. Good luck!

@Emmyanddreams nope so maybe it doesn’t help 🤣 I’ve had 3 transfers and miscarried them all. Just had my 4th so will see what happens!
