Buserelin shortage

I am getting ready from my fet. Down regulating this cycle. But there is a buserelin shortage :(

Any idea where I can source them

I am in the same situation! I can’t find buserelin to down regulate before FET. Have you had any luck at your end?

I was meant to start my IVF journey in Jan but was told there was supply issue with Buserelin and national shortage and they can't risk me starting without Buserelin being available due to risk of OHSS. My clinic told me to contact them again with my Feb period, which I did last week and was still told no Buserelin supply 😢

It seems like there's been a supply shortage since December and no one knows when it's back.
Others have told me there's alternatives like ovittrelle which can be used, which I will ask my clinic about tomorrow.

thanks for your quick response! I don’t think I am at risk of OHSS and my clinic told me today that I could have a single injection of Prostap on day 21 instead of everyday buserelin injections until I start my stims for FET. Before the shortage, I was told buserelin would be better for me over Prostap. And now that there is a shortage of buserelin, I am told Prostap is ok. But it’s my last FET attempt and unsure if I should just wait for buserelin.

My clinic did give me decapeptyl as the alternative. I couldnt find buserelin anywhere here.

@CharlieBarlie1 yw :) it's private. it's for my fet not trigger injection.
