Yorkshire Wait Times and funding for ovulation induction

Hi

TTC baby 2 a while now. I have PCOS, adenomyosis and suspect Endometriosis.

it took 3 years for our first to come along, I fell pregnant 6 weeks after a laparoscopy and ovarian diathermy which I feel “did the trick”. The plan for me back then was always lap followed by ovulation induction rather than straight into IVF.

my cycles are long and periods heavy. Pain is awful and cannot be properly managed unless I take hormonal contraception (obviously a no no!)

my GP has referred me to Leeds Fertility. This is the clinic we were under last time although it was during covid so a different time.

does anyone know the wait time presently from referral to first appointment on the NHS?

also does anyone know if the CCG guidelines for treatment other than iVF (eg diathermy or ovulation induction) are that we would not qualify for funding as we already have a child?

I know we wouldn’t qualify for funded ivf but I am unsure if we would be funded for ovulation induction. If not, I’m tempted to just go private now for the initial testing as well as treatment as I can’t deal with this pain any longer and we are desperate for a second child.

thank you
