Clomid/Letrozole and Ovulation Induction

Hi,

Interested in hearing about your experiences on Ovulation Induction medicine?

How did it make you feel? Did it work? How many cycles?!

Also what is the process with tracking? (whatever that means... - what it says on the fertility price list)

Hoping to try OI before IVF route, but personally havent known anyone who's shared to ask.

I just want to see those positive lines!!! (I havent even managed to see a positive on a Ovulation stick!)

I had letrozole for 3 cycles and I think I took it from days 2-7 of my cycle and then ovulated around day 17. They did a scan mid cycle to see if I ovulated. One month I produced 3 eggs and they told me to avoid intercourse.
Regarding side effects - it made me feel terrible , daily headaches and tiredness too.
Unfortunately didn't work for us and we moved onto IVF. But we did have a sperm issue too. Good luck! X

I'm on my 3rd round of Letrozole - first round I release 2 eggs but didn't get pregnant. The second round I also got 2 eggs and got pregnant, but had miscarriage at 8 weeks. We're now giving it another go in my current cycle as it worked the last time.

I've not really had any side effects and have ovulated as normal around day 14. In terms of tracking - my clinic scans me a few times roughly days 8, 10 and 12 to check the follicle growth and check for LH levels rising, which I also do at home.

Hi! Iv done 4 rounds of letrozole, iv 8dpo now on my 4th cycle, impatiently waiting to see has it worked, however have the sinking feeling if hasn't.
Unlike others, I wasn't offered tracking by my doctor but she has referred me on to her colleague and that will be the next step 🙈
