TTC with PCOS - support thread JAN 24

Just thought I would make a support thread for anyone with PCOS TTC where we can share any tips/vent/good and bad news. I was diagnosed recently and I am currently on CD 58 so know the struggle!

What I am doing to TTC:

• Inofolic alpha
• Starting metformin
• Spearmint tea
• Running 5k every other day
• Healthy eating

Hello!! Just hopping onto this 😃

Also have PCOS, diagnosed about 4 years ago when I notice severe weight gain, excess hair, and lack of periods... Ended up with my BMI going into the Overweight category!

In order to be ready to TTC (this month eeek!) I have lost a shed load of weight (3.5 stone). Run 3 days a week, weight train 2 days a week. Healthy eating but not excessively - gotta get my chocolate fix!

Have been taking Pregnacare Pre-Conception tablets for 2 months now. Also walking more and slowing down in general. Barely drank over Christmas and won't drink from now on either.

Cancelled lots of my plans for this year and changing my focus to lowering my stress levels and spending more time at home/locally. I'm usually busy every single weekend but DH and I have agreed to have at least 2 weekends a month at home so we can spend proper time together and recharge fully :)

@WonderingAboutBabies huge congrats on your weight loss, that’s amazing!

I’m the same, trying to reduce stress levels as being anxious doesn’t help. Just trying to let it be and see what happens.
