Estradiol vaginally tips for FET

Hi all,

I'm doing a FET and have to do Estradiol morning and night. This is the first time I have to do it vaginally. I put it this morning, was sitting for 20 minutes, went for a walk, went to the toilet after an hour and the pill came out.

How long should you rest after inserting it? Is it OK to wait seated or do you have to be laying down?

Do you have any tips? I've never had issues with the night application, I guess because I sleep after that, so no movement.

Thank you

@Cherry35 these are the usual oral pills you're using I take it? That's what they had me use so they are quite small, I would put one on the top of my index finger and gently try to put it in as high as I could. I never had an issue with it coming out so wondering if you're not getting it high enough in.

Yes, they are the tiny ones. I did with the index finger. Did you walk immediately after?

I'm still bleeding a little bit since it's CD4, could it be the menstruation blood pushing it out?

@Cherry35 I don't think it's coming out with the flow unless it's very heavy, but it's probably making things more lubricated and when you're moving it's then slipping out easier, but then you would have thought if it's wetter it would be dissolving easier and quicker too. I still think you are probably not getting it up high enough if it's coming out. I was doing it several times a day without lying down after and was fine when I used it.

@Gardenlady543 thanks, will have to pay attention to that.
