Low HCG 11dp5dt miscarriage or ectopic?

Hi,

I've had the results from my BETA which say my HCG is only 36.9. It was taken on 11DP5DT and everything I've read has suggested that it needs to be around at least 100-200 to be viable.

I am booked in for a follow up on Friday at 13dp5dt to check to see what's happened to the HCG level. Obviously if it's dropped I know it's a chemical/ early miscarriage. I have had a dull ache on my left side that's come and gone and I'm so worried about an ectopic.

Has anyone had such a low HCG that's gone on to be a successful pregnancy?

Anyone had it as an indication of an ectopic. Thank you

With both my ectopics I had really bad pain and heavy bleeding. It was only around 8-9 weeks at a scan did they tell me it was ectopic though as they couldn't see anything in my uterus.

Hcg levels aren't a good prediction of an Ectopic as they can follow normal hcg levels or can remain in the low numbers or static.

It's now just the horrible wait until your next blood tests.
