TTC #2 with low egg reserve - please give me hope!

Hey,

I'm 34 with 1 dd aged 2. Dd was conceived naturally after 2 year of ttc and the second cycle after failed IVF. I feel so lucky to have her.

Before we conceived dd we were under the care of fertility clinic as we had been ttc over 12 months. We were diagnosed with unexplained infertility. My ovarian reserve appears to be low - aged 31 I had AFC of 3, FSH 11.3 and AMH 10.5. IVF was fastracked because of this. IVF yieled 8 eggs and we have 6 frozen embryos.

We have been ttc since May, but have only really started tracking this cycle. I'm taking proceive, omega 3 and ubiquinol - we took these last time.

I am trying to stay relaxed about it, but can't shake the feeling that my ovarian reserve will have significantly diminished in these 3 years. My periods are still regular and I can tell that I'm ovulating.

Has anyone been in a similar situation and managed to conceive again with poor ovarian reserve?

Two of the ladies on the thread are pregnant and the rest of us are trying our best ;-)

Have you considered an AMH test just to give you more information? I had a set done recently with Medichecks that you can do at home:

Echo @loulamay - come join us on our other thread, more than welcome. We're TTC number 2 having had IVF for first due to low AMH. Fresh and FET didn't work this summer and taking a financial break for the moment. It really helps to have others to chat to, so do join us x
