Hi all - had a Hycosy last week and everything came back clear. Doctor has just told us to keep trying until we feel ready for IVF. I don’t feel ready for this, and wondering whether to push for Letrozole or IUI. A bit about me:
- both me and DH are 30 and healthy BMI
- been ttc for a year - never had a bfp
- semen analysis normal, although on the low side (43% motility)
- regular periods (28-33 days) and LH / BBT shows I’m ovulating
- day 21 progesterone normal, although slightly on the low side (25.3)
- all other bloods normal, ultrasound normal, lining and AMH good, polycystic ovaries but don’t qualify for PCOS
I know a year isn’t that long in the grand scheme of things and maybe I just need to be patient but I’m just so frustrated that everything looks ‘good’ on paper and it’s just not working for us. Feel like I’ve tried everything - preseed, acupuncture, SMEP - and I’m just convincing myself now that it’s just not going to happen naturally.
