Anyone had sperm analysis on NHS for secondary infertility?

DH and I are struggling ttc baby no2. I've had my 21-day prog and FSH bloodtests which were both fine; but my GP has said they can't send DH for sperm analysis on the NHS as we already have a child. Is this right?

I was under the impression from other posts that it might be covered. Many thanks.

My partner has had it done on the nhs no issues, as we are struggling with our second. He had to have it done to be able to be referred for infertility.
