Has anyone had bleeding after transfer?

Hi ladies
I’m so new to all this IVF lark, so I hope I explain accurately.
Has anyone out there had period like flow bleeding around the time of their period after a 5 day blastocyst transfer?
I started 10 days post transfer ( on period due date). Started pink and only when I wiped but picked up into a proper red flow the next day. I took the beta test that day ( it was the only test I had) it was negative.
Called my clinic, they said they couldn’t accept my negative result until my test day ( 4 days later). I explained my bleeding was a red flow but they just said keep taking meds and retest and call. I’m on progesterone pessaries and blood thinning jabs.
My blast was very small and early - 1bb.
I know it’s a loss this cycle but wondered if this happens often because I thought I’d not bleed while taking the progesterone.
Has anyone ever experienced this? Xx

I am sorry you are going through it. Progesterone doesn’t always stop the bleed. If it’s a failure, you will still bleed. Sending you good wishes. ❤️

Yes, I bled before OTD day on an unsuccessful cycle. The clinic still wanted me to come in for a blood test but it was full on period and the clinic was very far away so I declined.

I had some quite significant bleeding about Day 12 (?) post transfer. It was actually implantation bleeding (I'd never heard of that before) and that embryo is now doing A levels.

Ditto pp, progesterone won't necessarily stop you bleeding and just because you bleed it doesn't mean your progesterone levels weren't high enough. With my failed fresh transfer I had very similar to you, odd bit of spotting around day 7 then more day 10, period arrive day 11. Waiting until 14dpt is madness in my view. A negative at 10dp5dt is conclusive. My OTD has always been 11dp. I'm sorry this one hasn't worked for you x

Sorry to hear you’ve tested negative :(
On both my failed transfers I spotted within 5 days of the transfer even with the progesterone. Once I stopped the meds the bleeding became heavier and more period like.
