Late period following treatment

Hello all

I'm currently waiting for my period to start so we can start the FET process. I was due on 21st and usually pretty regular like clockwork but it's 26th now and nothing.. this is the period after the one from egg collection so I thought things may have settled down a bit but maybe not.. just wondering if anyone had experienced the same thing? Frustrating when Christmas is coming quickly as a deadline too! Took a test to check just in case but that's came out negative

I think it’s normal for your first one following EC to be irregular and the first actual ‘bleed’ is considered a withdrawel bleed so I think it’s to be expected and hopefully your body will go back to normal next month 🤞🏼

I had EC March & was always 28 days on the dot for years before this, since then my periods have ranged from 26 - 38 days which has been really frustrating :(

But it’s a lot you’ve put your reproductive system through so I think everyone’s just takes different amount of times to get back to their own ‘regular’!

I had a long cycle after the egg collection bleeding. It was around 35 days. It is quite normal, no need to worry.

Funny that :) I had exactly the same. Perfect 28d cycles before ER, then ER in March 2023 and messed up cycles ever since 26-42 days - come and go as they please.

@TuttyFruts Good to know it’s not just me! But would be nice to know if they will ever go back to normal or if my body is just out of sync now!
I also now have also ovulation pains every month so something has definitely not healed quite right in my opinion 😬
