Cost of FET drugs

Hi,
I’m sure this has been asked before but I can’t find a thread on it 🙈

We are due to have a FET in January, we don’t have our appointment until late December so I just want to get prepared money wise!

It looks like I will be having 1 prostap injection, then progynova tablets & cyclogest pessaries.

Anyone know how much we are looking at for the drugs?
I’m planning on getting a quote from both the clinic pharmacy & Asda once we have our prescription but would be nice to have a ball park figure 😬

Hi @HopefulHead Prostap cost me just under £100 per injection. I wasn’t on the other meds (not those brands) so can’t advise on those. Wishing you lots of luck

@LF82 Thank you 🥰 as the other 2 are tablets / pessaries I’m hoping the prostap will be the most expensive one!

@LF82 ‘ my oestrogen was £25 a box and progrestrone was £28 for 21 days of pessaries

Hi, my progynova was £25 a box.
Not sure on the cyclogest cost as that was given to me part of the IVF treatment package we paid for.

@LF82 @FMRBEC Thanks both 😃 doesn’t look like I’ll have to pay too much then in total 🤞🏼 I also have 2 weeks worth of progesterone pessaries from the IVF as our fresh transfer was cancelled so that’s a little bit off too 🥰
Think we have to have 3/4 weeks though and then more if it’s positive 🤞🏼

I also know someone who works at Asda so I’ve asked them to find out if they can use their employee discount on private prescriptions, probably unlikely but worth an ask 😆
