Nausea from Cyclogest

Hi there, just curious to hear how common nausea from Cyclogest is during the TWW from people who then went on to have a BFN. I know it can mimic pregnancy symptoms, including nausea, but interested in understanding how early is that likely to start as a side effect.
If anybody has experiences to share I would be very grateful x

@clhiu gave me incredible nausea during tww which turned into a positive test (first non ivf pregnancy had zero nausea or sickness)
Was way too early to be nausea from pregnancy.

I've found the Cyclogest side effects awful tbh, counting down the days to stop!

Best of luck 🤞

Thank you @JazBag . Can I ask you if you ever had any spotting from it any of the times you used it - if vaginally? This is the 8th cycle of me using Cyclogest and I'm having some spotting which is too early to be AF unless my cycle's gone completely awall.

  1. Natural pregnancy, started from 1DPO, had no nausea at all until about 10DPO, which could have been the actual pregnancy. Ended in MMC at 8 weeks and despite stopping it when it was diagnosed, no bleeding or spotting came whatsoever during the week I was waiting for surgical management.
  2. IVF FET mock cycle from 1DPO for 5 days, had no nausea at all.
  3. IVF FET cycle from 1DPO for 17 days + Lubion injection so double the Prgesterone, a few minor flashes of nausea from about 5DPT, but wouldn't have noticed if I wasn't symptom spotting and I was in fact pregnant, but ended in a chemical.
  4. 3 back to back cycles of Superovulation with Letrozole and trigger , from 1 DP trigger injection for 10 days each time till a negative PT each time. Some negligible flashes of nausea there an then, perhaps a bit more the 3rd time, but not pregnant.
  5. Natural cycle, from 11DPO, following PPT, another chemical pregnancy. I had lots of nausea from 6 to 9 DPO, so couldn't have been the cycloget, but the pregnancy, on day 7 I started spotting very lightly, this stopped when I started the cyclogest.
  6. Current natural cycle, from estimated 1DPO (although not fully sure of OD this month), on and off nausea, but quite intense at times since 5DPO, 2 days ago, around 6/7DPO I started spotting again, very similar pattern to the previous month, but I never spotted on cyclogest and in fact believe it's supposed to stop that, however I know it can also irritate the cervix and cause spotting at the same time.

I will test tomorrow morning and put myself out of my misery, but trying to figure out if I'm already out or not, just in case it was the pessaries, I started taking them rectally from last night. Spotting is very minimal today so far.

@clhiu I had spotting at 5 weeks and assumed it was all over (dark red/brown on and off for a couple of weeks). But had a viability scan at 7 weeks showing everything fine and currently 9 weeks. Clinic said placenta was over my cervix so likely cause of spotting.

I have been taking rectally rather than vaginally purely because I had read so many stories about them causing spotting - perhaps switch over and see if it helps?

Best of luck, it's such a rollercoaster!
Xx
