I have a Luteal phase of only 7 days and have never been pregnant (we’ve been trying for 5 years now). My progesterone blood tests always come back with such a low progesterone that it looks like I haven’t ovulated (I clearly have though as I get an LH surge on ovulation tests and I have regular periods).
I’ve raised my short Luteal phase/low progesterone before with my fertility doctors in the hope they might offer me extra progesterone to take during the Luteal phase or something but they just offer me IVF (which so far hasn’t worked). I was just wondering if anyone has been offered any other form of treatment besides IVF to correct a Luteal phase defect, and if so, has it worked?
