Is it normal that my test line is faint at 12p. I would have thought it would be really strong. I'm concerned that it hasn't progressed since my last test 2 days ago

They told me that a positive is a positive. How faint is it. Mine didn’t go super dark for ages. Is it just abit lighter than the test line or do you need to squint to see it?

RoseQuartzAndMoonstone · 09/11/2023 10:47

@JadeAC thanks for your reply. I guess I'm just freaking out because my last pregnancy was a chemical also.
I did 3 tests. One on Sunday one on Tuesday and one this morning. It definitely increased since Sunday buy my tests between Tuesday and today just haven't progressed at all and are still light. This is a photo from the tests I did on Tuesday morning . The ones from this morning are just kinda the same line intensity with no progression. The test ( with just the one test in photo) is from this morning
I just thought at 12 days past they would be alot darker

I'll also attach the dried tests of the 3 days. Sunday until today If anything I feel todays is ever so slightly lighter which I just feel concerning since its supposed to double every 48hrs

I think the bottom two are really good. I know the middle is slightly darker but those types of tests aren’t the best. Plus it matters about time of day and hydration so you can’t always judge darkness.

RoseQuartzAndMoonstone · 09/11/2023 11:25

@JadeAC thanks. You've made me feel a little better. I'm going to stop stressing and testing and just hope for the best.
I would be happy with the bottom tests but it's just the fact it's because those are dried tests and it said to discard the result after 15 mins

It’s such a stressful time so you have my sympathy.
I had hcg blood tests done a few days apart which gives a better indication than hours spent looking at tests (though I did that too!)

Hoping that all is well.

@RoseQuartzAndMoonstone here are my tests from a similar DPT from my successful pregnancy. I kept testing and they didn't get so much darker. I don't think cheapies do. The day after the second test they tested my HCG and it was 220, so not low! Congratulations 😊

@CycleGirl20 - when did you get your first faint line please? As in, how many days post day 5 transfer? thanks

CycleGirl20 · 13/11/2023 12:07

@CDiamond I waited until 9dpt to test
